Great bbq but just lacks consistency. I'll come one day and the food is great, come a few days later and it's not hitting. I got an awesome brisket tostado, came back a few days later and got a broken tostado and mushy brisket. Love the outdoor patio, and the bar next door to get drinks from - though they too lack on consistency.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. The staff was extremely helpful in suggesting things we should order (it was our first time), the food was excellent, and the prices were even better. We ordered the El Jefe with a few additional sides (fries, salad, taco), and everything was excellent. My husband raved about how this is now his favorite BBQ in the DFW area. The side salad and rib bites were my fav! The potato salad was probably my least favorite, although it was flavorful. We will certainly be back soon!

We got off the flight from CA to TX and were starving! We googled a few places and this one came up. We drove there and IT WAS THE BEST DECISION EVER!! They had a young lady taking orders at the front training a new girl, we ordered the $26.00 share a meal combo that came with tri-trip, sausage, ribs and i think another meat. It came with mac and cheese as our side. We ordered the corn bread, Texas Twinkie and the apple pie. THERE WAS NOTHING ON THAT MENU THAT DISAPPOINTED US!! I am super bummed we didnt get to go back and get more for our trip home! Everything was cooked to perfection!! The inside was nicely cleaned and they had an AC machine running that kept it cool. We will be back TX... You better believe we will be stopping in here!!

Hurtado BBQ in Dallas, TX, serves up a BBQ plate that's a true delight. The brisket is tender with a perfect smoky crust, and the sausages are packed with flavor. The green beans add a spicy element mixed with chorizo , while the pickled onions and pickles provide a tangy balance. Served on butcher paper, this plate is as authentic as it gets. Highly recommended for any BBQ lover!

Love this place!!!! One of my favorite places to eat BBQ, best in TX!!! Great service and great food, what else can you ask for.

I've found out you may order online and they will bring it to your car. That's as good as having a Drive Through. I'm glad I checked their website. Both they and David's/Red Bryan's have excellent and tasty BBQ!!!

Finally got an opportunity to try the brick and mortar location; had been meaning to try it for years and just sort of forgot. Used to eat it back when it was just sort of a little stand back at Division Brewing aeons ago. Went in the middle of the day on a Friday since I'd heard the lines could get crazy - but wasn't a big deal and wasn't too wild. Pretty quick service. Potato was a good size for the price. Was excited for the burnt ends, but they unfortunately weren't great - hoping it may have just been a bad day for burnt ends. Happy for the owner's success and well-deserved rise in popularity/recognition fur sure, but still sorta prefer how it was back when it was just a smaller operation.

Me and my class took a trip and ate lunch the food was amazing and the workers were so kind to all of ua and handled out large group well. The portions were pretty big and filled us all up! Would definitely come here again! I recommend the Big Mike burger with fries! The fries were delicious and well seasoned. Besides being a-little pricey I liked it.

Hurtado may be my favorite bbq in DFW! Their "Mexi-cue" hits the mark for me every time. Came right at opening time on a Saturday and there was already a line outside. What we tried: El Jefe Platter - 1/3 lb each of brisket, pulled pork, spare ribs, turkey, burnt ends and sausage. For sides, we got Mexican Street Corn, Hatch Chile Mac, and Brisket Beans, and two Texas Twinkies (of course!). What I loved: Burnt ends, Texas Twinkies, street corn, turkey, and (jalapeño cheddar) sausage. The burnt ends were on par with those I had in KC, turkey was beyond juicy, street corn was a such a fun side that showcased their Mexican flavors! When it's not too hot, it's great to sit outside at their picnic tables. I also love that the owner walked around to each table and said hello + checked in on our meals. Gave the spot a great family vibe!

Inside is quite small, but the lines!!!! Wow!! The first time we went, we didn't know about the lines, but were lucky enough not having to encounter it, it was a Wednesday afternoon. When we went back Saturday, the line was out the door and almost to the turning in towards the parking garage. They are open until 11pm or until they run out of food. They will dash off their menu any dish/platter that is no longer available. Their brisket and burnt ends were PHENOMENAL!! Uff!! I mean just thinking about it makes me extra hungry hahaha. Their tostadas was delicious, but be warned for those non tolerant to spice folks, the red sauce will kick yooooo a**!! I suggest trying varies dishes in varies occasionally to get the full experience. Service was great and quick.
